How to play Sic Bo

This game is similar to roulette, as the goal is to guess more or less precisely on which number the ball will stop.

The big difference, however, is that Sic Bo is a dice game. Three dice give the results of each draw and the possible winnings of the players. Before the dice are rolled, the players around the table place their bets.

Different bets can be placed on the future outcome of the roll of the three dice:

• Triples – Bet on the outcome of a specific triple (for example, 3 times the number 6).
• Any Triple – Rolls any triple.
• Double – Rolls a specific double. If a triple of your chosen number is rolled, you win as well.
• Miss – The sum of the three dice is between 4 and 10 inclusive. The same applies to triples.
• Pass – The sum of the three dice is between 11 and 17 inclusive. Beware, triples (e.g. 3 times the number 5) are not winners.
• Single number – You predict which number will come up. If you bet on the number 1 and it comes up once, you win some credits. If it comes up twice, the payout is higher, and obviously even higher if the 1 comes up three times.
• Combination of two dice – Bet on the outcome of two dice. For example, you can bet on “1 and 4”. In this case, you win if both numbers come up on the roll of three dice.
• Total bet – The purpose of this bet is to guess what the sum of the dice will be. This bet ranges from 4 to 17 and the payout depends on the probability. The more likely a sum is, the fewer credits it pays.

Please note that these betting options differ depending on the variant you are playing, and the name of each bet may also change depending on the casino you are playing at. Rather than Miss and Pass, which are the terms also used in roulette, some casinos simply refer to Small and Big (or Big).

Like most table games, Sic Bo online comes in many different versions. Online, there are many different game modes that are no longer limited to the possibilities offered by the dice.

The rewards are obviously adjusted accordingly and are much more satisfying: falling on the right triple is equivalent to collecting 450 times the amount of your bet!
